This was the original color palette that I selected for our new home. I changed the gray… but I’m obsessed with our Alabaster trim and want to show you my new favorite NAVY!!!
We selected Needlepoint Navy from Sherwin Williams. My favorite designer, Deb Way (who you can listen to on THIS podcast) and I had a conversation recently about how some navy paints can be so dark that they almost come off as black in shadowed areas.
I agree.
But this navy has a lot of life to it! I see both a hint of green and a splash of gray in it, which keep it from being too bright….
But also keep it from going too dark….
Stella likes it…..
And the new carpet is going in.
We also painted our bathroom the same color.

I’m lovin’ the deep blue colors this year and I really like the one you chose. After so many years of grays and greiges, these rich blues are so refreshing.
