This is the same house as the last posting with the beaded walls…. just a different project.
This is the fireplace that we painted in my client’s living room. It started out being plain white (I have an aversion to white).
We stippled on a texture and then gave it a glaze. Metallic highlights on the details are soft and subtle.
Can’t wait until the clients have moved in to the house and decorated! Things look so much prettier when a space is completely done, but I wanted to share it early.

It is really nice! It makes it look very grand! And expensive! Two great qualities.
You could probably make an outhouse look grand and expensive with your techniques!

Was this a concrete fireplace or a wood surround Jennifer?? Now that the great holiday take down of 2010 is over and the LR is toy free I am now wanting to faux the fireplace surround. Looking around for ideas.
