Dear female creative business owners,
If you are discouraged with your business this morning, or feel stuck or confused or feel like you are hitting up against a brick wall, I want to share something with you.
There is a very real enemy in this world who comes to steal, kill and destroy.
And he hates women because we create LIFE.
And he hates creative women because we create BEAUTY.
And he hates creative business women because we create JOBS and OPPORTUNITIES , often for other women. And when strong, powerful, emotionally healthy women team up with and encourage other strong, powerful, emotionally healthy women….. we are a force to be reckoned with.
Listen girls, KNOW who you are fighting against. It’s not your competition. It’s not the tax lady. It’s not your un-supportive spouse. It’s not the economy. It’s not lack of funds or lack of time. It’s the enemy who wants to steal/kill/destroy your confidence, your gift from God and your business. The enemy wants you to stay stuck and confused and LITTLE.
Remember when you are discouraged, or tempted to turn back, or thinking about giving up on your passion…. that God is rooting for you. He GAVE your creative gift. He ENTRUSTED to you that the very passion you have for making things pretty. He totally expects you to fight for your gift and to use it! And you don’t have to fight solo, He is there. Lean into Him. Ask Him for powerful, encouraging people to come into your world and be in your corner!
We all get discouraged, so you are not alone. But I want you to war against that thing and remember WHO your enemy is. And more IMPORTANTLY…. remember whose YOU ARE! You are NOT alone and you’ve come too far to turn back now!
Don’t give up.
xoxo,
Jennifer
Last week I hosted a FREE webinar called “Perfect Schmer-fect: why perfectionism is killing your creative small business”. We only had room for 100 people on that call and it filled up! If there is enough interest, I will host another one just like it. Comment below if so!
I’m joining your list in hopes you do the webinar on perfectionism again! Thanks for the encouraging words
