The Lord is showing me over and over again the importance of taking a stand, especially as a Mom. It can be hard to take a stand and keep our mouths shut instead of sharing our opinions. There are three main reasons why it is hard to take a stand. It feels vulnerable, people might disagree with us publicly, or we might be “canceled.” All of those reasons come back to fear. And the root of fear is rejection. Jesus himself was rejected. We can take a stand in a way that is still winsome and respectful. The Lord goes both before you and is our rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). Ladies, it’s time to stop hiding in the background and time to take a stand.
