Last week, I had a photographer from a local Kansas City magazine come to my house to shoot some of our faux finished walls for an article on The Magic Brush. The magazine is called “Northland Lifestyles” and our house will be in the June 1st issue. I can’t wait!
She told me she didn’t have any kiddos of her own, but she was patient as all get out with my kiddo.
The pretty, pretty princess didn’t want to leave the room.
So, Angela shot right over her.
In all honesty, I didn’t want to leave the room either.
Do you see how CLEAN it is????
Not a speck of dust to be found.
Not a post it note.
Not a to do list.
Not an uncharged ipod, overdue library slip or magazine reorder form to be found!!!!!
I would like to take a moment of silence to appreciate the tidiness of my office for that shoot.
It lasted all of about 1 hour 27 minutes and 51 seconds.
Then, I had to remember where I stashed all my crap at and dig it out back out.
Y’all know this picture is my reality, right????

That is seriously how it goes! Stash stuff when company comes! Not that photogs ever came to my house but I have been known to stash now and then. 😉

You should see my room right this minute! The desk is covered and the rest of the room is scary. I really am trying to declutter and donate. 🙂
