(Please excuse the poor picture quality….. I only had a cell phone handy!)
The other day, Ava went with me to deliver samples to a designer who was working at her farmhouse for the day.
The designer’s farmhouse is being photographed for both a coffee table book and Country Living magazine. Keep your fingers crossed that the chest I painted for her makes the cut for both publications!
The designer invited Ava to help her gather eggs from her chicken coup.
My designer actually picked a chicken up to get an egg out from under it.
This small-town-girl-turned-big-city-girl was a little stunned. And I’d be ticked if I were that chicken!!!!
So, we gathered a dozen warm eggs…..
We got a thumb’s up on the new samples….
We used ALOT of hand sanitizer when we were done …
And we called it a day! It was all in a day’s work!
Many blessings,
jennifer
awwww…how precious Ava looks! Glad she got to have some country fun. The chest looks awesome…how could they NOT just love it. 🙂
How fun! The chest you did is gorgeous and definitely deserves some paparazzi.
What a fun day! I hope those pieces get published for you. I know I would be over the moon if one of my pieces of painted furniture ended up in a publication! Let us know…
There’s nothing like fresh eggs straight from the chicken’s bum!!! I can’t wait to see the farmhouse in the magazines and hopefully your dresser will be in there too!
Hey, Jennifer! Just found your blog via Let It Shine via Kimba’s!! Love this!! Your work is beautiful! And, I loved the darlin’ post of your son’s first day at Kindergarten! Precious! And the planks Ava did!! Just too cute! I have a question if you get a minute…in Ava’s bathroom– on the drawers…is that scrapbook paper? And if so, what did you use to seal it with? Love that!
OK, time to get laundry done! Have a great day!
Hugs,
Susan
That dresser is to die for…what a fun experience for Ava!!
