I am so excited to be decorating my dining room a little early this year for Christmas. There is nothing like pulling out my Christmas decor and turning on some Christmas music to get me in the holiday mood!

I needed to decorate my farm table with a whole new centerpiece and theme. Of course, I went to my beloved Hobby Lobby and worked super hard to get the centerpiece all done for under $100! And I did!

I honestly think this is the pretties Christmas table I have ever had!  You can find these items in your local store or online HERE

I started my tablescape by looking for one inspiration item that I loved. When I saw this plaid table runner I was a smitten kitten. I adore the buffalo check pattern!!!

So the runner was my inspiration and of course at Hobby Lobby, it was half off making it $10.

This was the 2nd item I purchased. I mean seriously. It’s glittery, sparkly and with the beads I added…. a little comical.  I adore the Christmas deer head!!! It was $39.99 and half off as well. Love their 1/2 off sale!

Then I headed to the wreath and swag section and purchased a swag that had the same buffalo check fabric in it. Yes, I could have made the centerpiece with evergreen picks and ribbons and things, but if I can get a centerpiece half off, why would I??? It was half off of $49.

The last thing I purchased for the centerpiece were these 2 cute birch candleholders. I already had the candles and the upside down Santa basket from a garage sale. Score! One was $14.99 and the other $7.99 and both half off!

That brought my total to $65.

So to finish off my plaid tablescape … I purchased cream chargers and plaid plates!

The cream chargers are lightweight and super cheap! The plates are real and were $9.99 each but half off.

And this. This is my favorite part of the whole table-setting. I purchased these cute sled tree ornaments from Hobby Lobby and used some cloth napkins just weaved thru the sled rails to use them as a napkin ring. So fun! Take a peak at Hobby Lobby’s ornaments here.

And viola! Ready for a winter wonderland! If you want to watch a Facebook video of me showing off the entire room, you can watch below:

Hope my buffalo check tablescape inspires your Christmas decor! I will tell you….. plaid and buffalo check and tartan are all so hot this season!

Blessings,
Jen
