Today I want to talk to you about the difference between prophecy and fortune-telling. In my Next Level challenge, there was a prayer component called the War Room. This is where I prayed for entrepreneurs and gave them a prophetic word when God was leading me to do so. Because of this, I had a lady reach out to me in my DM’s who said she was concerned with the war room and that it felt like fortune-telling. Friends, prophecy is VERY different than fortune-telling. Today I want to talk about the difference between the two.
Definition of prophecy vs. fortune telling
Prophecy: being a spokesperson for God, on the spot.
Fortune telling: making a prediction about the future.
