So our deck has been dismal looking the last few years.  We’ve been focusing so much on the INSIDE of our house that I have seriously neglected the OUTSIDE. Ug.

Every year around Mother’s Day I go get flowers to plant in pots for the patio. But this year I told my hubby that I wanted to jazz up the patio DECOR as well. I didn’t need to spend a ton, I just wanted to make it colorful and more appealing! This looks sad!

And look at how it turned out???? So colorful and fun!

I teamed up with TJ Maxx and ordered my Mother’s Day gift to myself from their website.

First of all, I had no idea TJ Maxx even HAD an online store. Where have I been???

Second, they have some of the cutest indoor/outdoor items that I have ever seen!

 This pouf  is so colorful and so adorable! I had a colorful blue rug that I had bought from a garage sale for $5 and I think the pouf is so fun on top of it! It’s a footstool. It’s a chair. It’s adorable!

This gorgeous pouf I purchased has already sold out (at prices this good, sometimes the styles don’t last long), but check back often because tjmaxx.com gets hundreds of new arrivals each week.  They have some great accent furniture  or a garden stool  as a great alternative to my pouf.

I ordered this topiary to sit on my my garage sale table that I have had for a million year but refuse to get rid of because the chippy lime green paint makes me happy!!

And yes, that is rain. Look friends, it’s rained for like the last 5 days in Kansas City. We are ready to build an arc up in here. Lol.

But at least my patio is colorful and fun even tho’ the skies have been so gray and depressing!

And I am obsessed with the pillows I ended up getting from TJ Maxx.

And here is my new patio decor! It cost me right around $100 and it looks like a million bucks compared to what it did!
