Nail Polish Pumpkins

I am obsessed with painting pumpkins!!!! Like, cannot.get.enough.of.it. You can see a ton of my pumpkin decorating ideas HERE.

Recently, I saw the idea to “marble” pumpkins with nail polish on Color Made Happy. Hers turned out so colorful and fun I couldn’t wait to try it!

And oddly enough, my gorgeous momma was entering a pumpkin painting contest awarding $200 to the winner…. so it was perfect timing!

Our supplies were simple: white pumpkins, bowl, room temperature water, wax paper and we used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails polish.

Note: WE SHOULD HAVE WORN GLOVES.

Did you see what happened in the video to my wedding ring??? OMGOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Thank goodness for mothers who will work hard to get nail polish off your wedding ring before you have a complete fit! lol.

NOTE: I should also advise you to use a disposable bowl of sorts, you will ruin you bowl:
