When you become an entrepreneur, words matter. A lot of times it’s just you, so you need to be your biggest cheerleader instead of your biggest critic. Lately, I’ve heard several of my coaching clients say, “I’m drowning, I’m on the struggle bus, I’m so far behind, etc”. It grieves my heart because the bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That’s why it’s much easier for you to remember the negative things that people have said instead of the positive. But the words we speak over ourselves matter even more than the words other people say about us. If you find yourself speaking negative self-talk, focus on where you want to go and make sure your words align.
