I got this video today from one of my faux finishing friends (we only communicate via email, but Sharon….. I hope you are a real life friend one day. I can tell we share pieces of our hearts. ).
Sometimes I look at my 3 healthy kiddos and think…… I love them so much my heart can barely handle it. Other times I look at them and think if I have to hear one more whine, one more request, one more anything…. that I will go crazy.
This put things back in perspective for me today.
If you are a mom,
know a mom,
have a mom,
or want to be a mom…..you are gonna cry.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Someone pass the kleenex.

I need kleenex. Whew, i’m tearful here. What a beautiful video. I can so relate. We all should cherish the moments with our kids. They grow too fast. Thank you for sharing with us. That was beautiful.

Dude…I broke out into a full blown UGLY cry! I cried so hard I still have a headache! It so touched me and renewed my vow to be present in everyday and in every moment! Love ya.
Wow! I’m a grandmother now and it seems that the grandkids are growing older wayyyy too quickly. My kids did too, however, I was so ‘busy’ that those treasured ordinary moments were sometimes overlooked. That makes me sad ~ Now, I spend more time and I treasure each moment, each conversation and personal interaction with all of them. We make memories as we go through each day so trying to record the now “extraordinary” moments is my goal. There are no more ordinary moments for me ~ 🙂
I still need the tissues though!

As the mom who just sent one off to college this past fall I could so relate. The dread of it, though, was worse than the reality. I’ve come to realize they still call, email, and text almost daily. Sometimes I think I see more of him now than I did his senior year. But the video is right, it is the ordinary days that are the most priceless. Thanks for sharing.
Wow what a great video…being the mother of boys the pics really hit home…also, having the little boys that are 6 ft tall now…I can relate!!!
