Look at this gorgeous girls bedroom! It’s my daughter’s!
I’ve had so many questions about Ava’s bedroom and needed to do a blog post for you all!
(This post contains some affiliate links for products I used in this design or I may have found some very similar)
Here are some fun details:
- the paint color is Sherwin Williams’ Charisma (it’s on my list of 50 top interior paint colors that you can get for free HERE.)
- the one-of-a-kind headboard came from Encore Boutique in Shawnee, KS. The fabric had already been painted black. Yes, you CAN paint fabric, see my blog post HERE.
We did find 2 similar headboards online for you at Wayfair and Amazon. (See more shopping links below)
And here is her adjoining bathroom.
You can see MORE pictures of her bathroom here. (And her original nursery! I was so excited to design a baby girl’s nursery for my own home and my own daughter!!!!)
Many of the things in her bathroom are very sentimental too me. Like the ceramic piano was my grandmother’s… and the painting was in my mom’s bedroom 50 years ago.
I painted her bathroom vanity cabinet with different stencils and prints. I made the custom “And though she is little, she is fierce” artwork over the toilet using my fave stencils from The Mad Stencilist.

Here are some decor items that I’ve hunted down for you in case you want to use any of these girly elements from her room. These are all affiliate links for your shopping convenience!
