I had no idea I needed a cord hider (I say this tongue in cheek).
But Deb (my decorating friend) said I needed one on this chandelier in my powder bath.
Much prettier to look at….
Who woulda thunk it???
Note my disclaimer if you try this at home:
If using the cord hiders that are at Hobby Lobby on their frequent 50% off sale…. please be prepared to break nails, bite your tongue as not to curse and basically NEVER take the cord hider off. Seriously….. the snaps are so hard to do …..DO NOT…. by any means……GET OFF ON THE SNAPS GOING TOGETHER…..if you have to undo a bunch that you already did…. you will have blood on the cord hider. Not a good look. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. These things are permanent.
Many blessings,
jennifer
Oh Man I am off to buy one for my powder bath chandie!!
The walls in your powder room are gorgeous. In fact, everything I’ve seen of your home is just beautiful. Would love to seem more pics. It’s elegant yet warm and inviting. YOu’re very talented!!

That is good info to know! I made one with my mother in law from a scrap for my $10 yard sale chandy redo. It was SUPER easy because we just sewed a long sleeve and shoved it on the cord before my father in law hung it. I need to make one for the dining room but I guess I will have to bust out the glue gun and an extension cord!:)
Love the new cover!
Hey you! I too used a cord cover in black for my chandelier in my craft studio. It was tough opening the snaps but by some miracle got them to work. Hugs from Conroe, TX!
Very pretty!!
I would just be happy to have a chandelier in the bathroom! LOL! Yours looks great. Sorry I haven’t been by to visit in FOREVER. Still working on my class. Ready to get back to visiting on a regular basis!
Have a great weekend, and I love your new family pics. Well, not sure how long they have been up, so they are new to me! LOL!!!

Love the disclaimer. Too funny. This is when you are glad you can do projects with a friend and laugh about it together even when there is smoke coming out of your ears!

They are definitely a pain to button/unbutton!
Your family pics are great!
My cord cover is velcro…no snaps!!!
Of course I only have one to cover my mass amount of cords coming from my desk top…I need some for my lamps too!
that looks pretty now, whereas before it just was a chain….
I once made a cord hider for my old chandelier with an extra long piece of black fabric and my glue gun. I just glue gunned it closed while standing on the table. 🙂
